An award-winning Catholic school educator in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Peoria for close to 50 years, Sharon began her career as a teacher and counselor at Peoria Notre Dame High School. After serving as the principal of St. Patrick School which received under her leadership in 2012 a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award, Sharon became the diocese’s superintendent of Catholic schools. In addition to attaining multiple professional certifications, Sharon holds a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, a master’s degree from Bradley University, and a doctoral degree from Illinois State University.
