ADAC’s Teacher Instructional Coaching Program, grounded in Jim Knight’s Impact Cycle (Knight, 2017), provides virtual and on-site instructional coaching to help teachers translate professional learning into consistent classroom practice and improved student outcomes.
The Case for Instructional Coaching
“A recent review of dozens of instructional coaching programs found that coaching consistently led to stronger teaching and better student learning compared to traditional professional development alone”.
Kraft, Blazar, & Hogan, 2018
Why This Matters for Your School
For leaders, this means instructional coaching is not a “nice to have,” but a direct pathway to stronger instruction, more effective initiatives, and better student outcomes. ADAC’s Teacher Instructional Coaching Program is designed to harness this research-backed impact and make it accessible and affordable for schools through focused, virtual and on-site coaching cycles that can be scaled to each school’s budget.
"My coach creates such a positive and supportive environment. She is personable and uplifting, while also offering constructive feedback and actionable strategies to strengthen my practice.”

Program focus and structure
Centered on Goals, Evidence, and Reflection
- Six-week coaching cycles following an identify–learn–improve–reflect structure, with clear goals and success criteria tied to student engagement and learning.
- Weekly virtual sessions using classroom evidence (including video, when appropriate) to refine strategies and problem-solve in real time.
- Multiple formats—individual, cluster, virtual, in-person, and hybrid—so schools without on-site coaches can still offer high-quality, job-embedded support
