*The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a federal law that requires public school districts to provide to eligible private school students IDEA-funded services based on available proportionate share funding. In each public school district, this funding is calculated according to the number of private school students attending the private school(s) therein who have been found eligible for special education and/or related services by said public school district. In the partnership referenced on this page, ADAC functions as an IDEA-funded third-party provider between private schools and local public school districts.
