A Learning Support Team Framework for Private Schools
ADAC provides a year-long school-based professional development program that combines the flexibility of online learning with customized implementation coaching.
We provide to your teachers and leadership team:
- An asynchronous course designed to give them the knowledge and skills needed to develop a school-based Learning Support Program grounded in MTSS
- Ready-to-use resources such as an implementation flowchart, customizable forms & checklists, and meeting agenda templates
- Ten hours of customized implementation coaching with a dedicated ADAC coach
For more information about our Inclusive Classrooms Program,
contact Julie Cantillon.
The purpose of this program is to equip private school teachers and leadership teams (i.e. principals, assistant principals, learning support team coordinators, teacher-leaders, special education teachers, etc.) with knowledge about and practical tools for successfully implementing a school-based Learning Support Program grounded in a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
All participants will have immediate access to ready-to-use resources, such as an implementation flowchart, customizable forms and checklists, and ready-made meeting agenda templates. In addition, each leadership team’s coach, assigned to it by ADAC, will empower team members to assimilate course content, conduct a school-wide needs assessment, and, ultimately, achieve the aim of this course, which is to aid private school leadership teams with implementing and, ultimately, executing dynamic and effective learning support programs.
Graduate credits available from the University of San Diego!
Course participants have the option to pursue 2.0 graduate-level extension credit(s) in semester hours. Graduate-level extension credits are not part of a degree program, but instead are used primarily for professional development. In some cases, these credits may be used toward recertification and salary advancement. Some universities will accept these credits toward a graduate degree, but this depends on the university. All who successfully complete this course will receive an ADAC Certificate of Completion as well as a University of San Diego transcript.
Pursuing the 2.0 graduate-level extension credits from the University of San Diego will incur an additional cost of $158 per course participant.
